Logobear garment decorating grew out of technology & lessons we learnt in our earlier business Spectrum Imaging.
“I’ve always had favourite t-shirts, – and they were never ones from regular high street outlets, always ones made for friends bands, or ones special to me” explains founder Phil Rigby.
With that attitude, We have set out to gather the very best in personalisation technologies. Services are specially geared to fast service and great quality. We love helping customers face2face with their designs, logos, artwork ideas and projects. Often we can complete small orders within an hour, and you are welcome to supply your own garments.
Phil explains ” The geeky part of me obsesses with having the best production equipement and materials so we can offer the best service in Newcastle and the North East”
The best equipement doesn’t mean higher prices though, as we can save in improved efficiency and reduces waste.
We can embroider, laser print, sublimate, vinyl cut, transfere print, and soon, screen print & DTG Direct to Garment print, – all from a shop in Newcastle upon Tyne that you can visit 6 days a week. You can still order online, but have the reassurance of a genuine physical shop where you can try on garments, or even supply you own.
Hope we see you soon. Phil

Phil Started the specialist printing business in 1987, printing 1 hour photos for the first 23 years. New specialist print services were continually added, including tshirt printing in 1991. Phil loves a good gadget, – and kit to print & embroider garments is as good as it gets! Phil and partner Sara have 3 (great) kids and live in the west end of Newcastle. When not working and spending family time, Phil pretends he can play Ukulele, and tries to sing…. since this photo was taken, Phil has had his hair professionally cut!
Tracy has worked for the company since 1991 initially as a photo printer. Her clients won numerous awards for their images as Tracy has extremely accurate colour perception. (Phil suspects she is a tetrachromat)
Tracy takes delight in getting stuck in, and working on retail displays. She is extremely accurate, …. if we cannot find any scissors, – it is usually because Tracy has tidied them away!
George is a devoted dad, dog lover and big Newcastle United fan. He is (almost) always cheerful and ready to help out while having a good crack.
While a master of all trades, he excells at embroidery, and is our ‘go-to’ man for tricky projects. George thinks Tracy keeps hiding the scissors!
Freya has recently joined the team as our first ever apprentice in graphic design. She is very creative, and excells in creating original artwork. She is inspired by Japaneese animi styles, but also takes commisions for dog portrait illustrations. Freya has 2 rescue greyhounds, and also plays ukulele (probably better than the boss!)
